Not when I took my CDL test. it was and I believe still is a restriction that needs to be removed ( endorsement was not the correct term) Just like manual transmission. Air brakes are a separate part of the written and practical test.

Take a walk around there any day after 4pm and you will see dozens of lost-looking people with lanyards.

Well 100 years ago there was much less public involvement in construction. If you wanted to build a residential building you could if you owned the land. The neighbors couldn’t stop you because they didn’t like your project. Nowadays, with planning commissions and zoning laws there are a lot more obstacles in the way for creating new housing. Not saying getting rid of these public regulations is a good idea, but just pointing it out.
Also, construction was much cheaper back in the day. People could live in smaller spaces with more residents. Now, the avg square footage per resident is much higher. People expect more space. A house that used the fit a family is now deemed “too small for more than 2 people”. Residential units could also be built more cheaply then as construction standards were not as high and they didn’t need as many features/amenities as they do now (multiple bathrooms, more electrical outlets, etc.) And without OSHA and modern pay requirements labor was nowhere near as expensive as it is today.
But leaving these modern requirements in housing aside, we can still provide enough housing for everyone if we get held back by restricting new development.

They already set rope up like this once, and it was either taken down for an event and never replaced, or just torn out by people who wanted to drive there anyway. This is a joke. People need to get those $100 tickets the minute they drive over the curb. No warning. If you don't know that it's illegal and unacceptable to drive your car across the grass and multiuse trail, I have no pity for you.

I went by one night and a DJ set up by the Angels with a massive PA system. I could hear the bass thumping all the way up to Manayunk.

The past couple years, the park ranger just sat in his car and drove all across the place when cars pulled in and gave them a warning. There was no real penalty.

There is ALWAYS parking available in Fountain Green. People are just too damn lazy to walk an extra 100 yards and have to wait for the light to change.

I love bus drivers because they will throw off assholes and then give you the happiest you’re welcome when you exit and say thank you.

Literally. I doubt they talk to the drivers union or at least don’t listen to them. Because some active presence of anyone who gave a shit at subway stations or on the cars would quickly reduce the fuckery

We need computer vision on the bus that literally stops the damn thing if a cigarette is lit, then plays "You have 20 seconds to comply."
