I LOVED IT when I went before, but that was pre-covid when I still lived in the area. Based on my experience tho, I’d say so.

Yeah… I know that are alternatives. I wanted to make a home recipe that has the whole in the middle. That’s all.

Just use a regular Pyrex glass pan from Target and when you do the Bain de Marie to cook it, you just put water in a bigger glass pan. This is how I have always made it. You don't need a special pan. No one I know that regularly makes flan owns one.

Depends. If your used to going every year yes. But I'd the show made moves to do something different for a more enjoyable time maybe it's worth checking out for the hard core customer and here is a chance to get new ones on board

Do you enjoy being shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers, slowly shuffling past displays, hoping to get close enough to admire them and read about them while trying to avoid getting in everyone else's Insta-story?

Omg. I just realized that your post brought them together.
I'm so happy that you helped Panko/Poe find his forever family.
And it's wonderful that OP followed through and took home this sweet boy.

We would buy our mothers gifts from there. 20 some years ago I purchased from them a ~16”cast iron frying pan for the holidays and my mother laughed so hard when she saw what we got her. My response was she asked for a larger frying pan… so I bought the largest they had. She still has it but I doubt she can lift it easily. It’s always a funny story when it comes up.

Are you changing his name from Panko because you intend to remain crumb free?
