The plain cold brew at Dunkin - with no additives or sweeteners or foams of any kind - is actually decent in my opinion and only slightly worse than what you’d get at Reanimator or Green Street. But the fancy concoctions they’ve gradually been inventing in recent years (e.g. the Charli cold foam ) can be excessively sweet to the point of being disgusting.

There are a lot of things the city and mayor can’t or are very hard to do (logistically, resources, etc). Cracking down on blocking crosswalks and parking in the sidewalk are not one of them

You'll find it for all of them on their websites, and none of them are all-white or even close.
People have talked about Open Houses, but I think it's just as important to send your kids their to shadow another student for a day or even half-day.

I was just there on Saturday. Beers are reasonable for that kind of setting, but prepare to pay $20+ for any cocktail.
Dinner is still pretty pricey. Easily close to $100+ per person if you're getting any apps or side dishes.
The menu at Jean Georges itself (not Skyhigh) is $218 per person, before tax/tip/beverages. I'd call that outrageous.

Wow that is amazing to me as a kid who went to a Midwestern public magnet school lol. Thanks for sharing and kudos to you for making that much paper. I looked up the full tuition of GFS and it is about 2x my mortgage payment 😭

Most do at all these schools, but all of them have significant financial assistance available.

Well in these areas from a global investor perspective is different than from a resident perspective.
Also, global asset management is probably peak neoliberalism. I say that as a neoliberal working in that industry.
>Neoliberalism is contemporarily used to refer to market-oriented reform policies such as "eliminating price controls, deregulating capital markets, lowering trade barriers" and reducing, especially through privatization and austerity, state influence in the economy.

Policy risk for investors is high in places like Shenzen. Capital controls and CCP influence is high.
Berlin less so but strong organized labor is a potential policy risk.

I forget where I read it about the status of that building (its owned by Comcast), but this is what's going up next to it which is bring major density to that corner. The development on the comcast lot is after this first one gets built

That'd be cool, but pretty sure it's still considered an active rail and owned by CSX (Not 100% sure...but I've read this before)

“Schroders’ Global Cities Index seeks to rank global cities across four key criteria: Economic, Environmental, Innovation and Transport. It also aims to identify the cities which combine economic dynamism with world-class universities, forward-thinking environmental policies and excellent transport infrastructure.”
Sharing that our city ranks well among global cities in these areas is misleading? It wasn’t intended to be.

I’ve been to Reading twice to see shows at the Santander Performing Arts Center, which was great. But other than that, what is there to do in Reading? Genuine question. What was I missing?
