Can you define "so much better"?
I don't pay any fees at BoA except aforementioned ATM withdrawals here and there (very rarely, too, as I come prepared for "cash only" nights, as BoA ATMs are everywhere, one is within short walking distance from me), and they always take my cash.

The building says M Zimmermann Co, and Zimmerman is a German name, so I think it's more just a slaughterhouse thing.
I picture someone whose career is in butchering cows looking at the fancy new facade of the bank that ripped them off and thinking "one day, my butcher shop is gonna have a fancier front than than that stupid bank, only instead of weird mythical animals, I'm gonna have cow heads, I mean, I have enough of them, you need one to sculpt? I got one right here!".

Wtf, there’s a Dunkin basically across the street… can’t wait for one of them to go out or business and some deranged lunatic blame the closure on crime when the reality is it’s bad business practices and a terrible coffee product with serviceable, average donuts

I just assume that any cash only business bigger than a food cart is committing tax fraud.
I’m not sure why they aren’t all just getting audited constantly. Seems like shooting fish in a barrel.

I think I've heard of them before- but for another issue. If I recall correctly, they represent a carpenter's union (which, I don't know) and regularly protest buildings or organizations that either violated some union contract, or hired scab labor or something.

Tbh I'm the same way 😅 I think my tastebuds aren't refined enough because to me most coffee tastes exactly the same. Unless it's like, SUPER watered down or burnt I just can't notice a difference lol

Yea that makes sense. I talked to Anvil and they definitely can do it. I was just trying to think of some DIY solutions but because I didn't know what to call it, I wasn't finding a lot. Even searching this sub for "breezeway" didn't really turn up anything. Most of the searches for "alley" referred to an actual alley between two rows of rowhomes on different blocks.

People will complain about these cheesesteaks then go get a Dalessandro's dry as fuck steak and feel hip and cool.
Actually a bunch of places that are considered good on here that are just meat loaded bread that are dry as hell.
*Not saying Geno or Pat are the best but def serviceable (They aint dry bricks of meat)

Credit cards are completely separate from bank accounts. If you need to deposit cash regularly, then find a brick and mortar bank with the lowest minimum balance requirement, and then keep everything else in an online bank. They’re legit so much better.

It's just an alley. I don't have much info on where to find a gate system. I don't think the measurements are universal, it may need to be a custom job. There are metalworking shops around the city that probably handle jobs like this regularly, reaching out to one may be a good starting point.

I got my credit card through Capital One, they are alright.
I am doing some money stuff here and there that grants talking to a teller and sometimes depositing cash in person, so I need that brick and mortar option.

Stop using Bank of America (or any brick and mortar bank for that matter). Use Ally or Capital One.

I think PNC has done that as well.
This is the only fee I have to pay them, though (i.e., no monthly or other maintenance ones).

This is me as well - I'm a total philistine when it comes to coffee, as long as it's not instant. As long as it's hot and black, I'm happy with it.

What do you call this space between two row homes? Is it an alley? Breezeway? I ask because I'm trying to figure out how to put a gate here and am not finding a lot with my googling. Incidentally, the bike in this pic is no longer there as someone came by, clipped the cable, and walked away with it. It's kind of my fault for not securing it better - I used a u-lock to lock the cable rather than using it to lock the bike to itself AND to the cable, but live and learn etc..

Reply to Mawn, a BYOB Cambodian noodle house, to open next month in South Philadelphia by ColdJay64
How come whenever the article says “…open in South Philadelphia” they mean east of Broad. I wish Point Breeze, Greys Ferry, and even Girard Estates had better places than Atlanta Wings. I know there’s a few spots, but not nearly as many as east of Broad
