Hawthornes sucks. Waste of a liquor license tbh.

It's creepy if it's like "All the females on the dating apps reject me", but like... this is a headline

Thank you.
I think my mother mentioned Wissahickon actually.

Why can’t PECO spend less money and just elevate the entire substation itself. This seem wonky as hell, and the fact that PECO has no comment makes it worse.

I think if you spent any time in this sub you probably know. Reddit is really good about promoting their candidate and getting their name out.

My dad used to go to lots of different places in the Wissahickon. He found a LOT of neat things and learned a lot of local history along the way.

Thank you! I feel like the bread in particular is sort of double-taxed when it comes to our opinions.
You can patronize a bakery just for the bread and also be connected to it through the hoagie. I adore Sarcone’s for Sunday red sauce dinners but it’s a little different for a hoagie, for me—I love an Andy Reid from Cosmi, don’t get me wrong. But there are a LOT of bread options for hoagies. It’s not as cut and dry as like a New York or Montreal style bagel.

You're probably thinking of Alden Park apartments way down at the other end of School House Lane, off of Wissahickon Ave. If it was a retirement apartment building at one point it no longer is. I went to school at Philadelphia University and knew a few friends that lived there.

When I lived in Pennsport it was about twice as fast to get to work by driving than it was to take the buses. I didn’t really do it because parking is expensive, but not all of south philly is super well connected to transit. I could at least see why people do it.

I don't disagree which is why I added the bit about context
