The more you pay for a new car, the more you’ll regret it. You will get dings and you will get dents. Whoever is in this thread who is saying you won’t is either lying or not looking at their bumpers hard enough. But I bought a new Corolla about 3 years ago and street parked it - I was willing to accept the dents. If you’re buying a $55,000 SUV you may be less willing to accept these issues. Just my two cents.

My running club has gone there a number of times over the years and their bartenders are really good at ignoring entire sections of the bar. I waited nearly 30 minutes and just gave up. I don't like yelling for a bartender. I know that what I should have done is find a manager and take them aside to explain the situation. If it was one time I'd write it off but it is every single time we're there.

They'll move, they have good rep and I hear they do good business. Probably end up clustered up in the areas that already have a bunch of Breweries already. Kind of a shame. Not a ton of stuff like that up around East Falls. Friends of mine live up that way and they complain about limited going out options.

I'll preface this by acknowledging that I've only lived here for a short time. That being said, I haven't been impressed at all with the local government of Philadelphia from the city council up to the mayor. To me, Rhynhart is a good strong push in the right direction. She seems to be the most holistic of the possible candidates. She has not only identified the problems facing the City, admittedly not a difficult task, but seems to have put some thought into what can, and should, be done about them. Rhynhart strikes me as a thoughtful technician who has strong ideas about how to best use the limited resources of the City, something I can't say about the others. Most can't seem to put together a basic websites that clearly articulates their policies, let alone provide details on how these policies might be implemented.

Unrelated question as I'm not familiar with the neighborhood but saw School House Lane mentioned

Anyone know if there was/still is a big old retirement apartment building that mostly wealthy elderly once lived in on that street?

I had a very wealthy aunt that lived on that street in a huge apartment back in the 1970s and 1980s but I never visited her there unfortunately.
