It’s nuts. And these places need to create the tunnels to begin with. We’re just asking to retrofit them so they’re modern. Kinda insane

Tier 6 plan sucks. Can’t work from home. Office space is crumbling with roaches, equipment outdated, your coworkers are unmotivated uninspired incompetents collecting paychecks waiting for retirement. Why work for the city?
Pro: You can’t get fired.
Hmm.. That’s actually a huge pro in a recession

You can pay part up front and the rest based on results.
....and yes? Lots of fixed price projects don't pay until something is delivered in production. Not everything is time and materials.

Lol so just turn NYC into a complete lawless land of anarchy?
How can I wake up one day and live in make believe land?
Is it drugs? Is it copious amounts of alcohol? Is it just brainwashing by only reading the edgelord manual of 2023?

I’m just saying if you’re worried about violent criminals, Bragg is going to take care of a big one.

I already responded with the explanation to your question.
Now it's up to you to read it.
Duck sauce killer was let off the hook in a bigger way, commits a murder, and the "advocates" stay mum about that.
That strongly suggests that for the advocates, it's not about crimes and victims, it's just a brainless anti-police political stunt.

It shouldn't be a crime to chase someone down the street with a gun? Are you mental?

The main benefits of a career in public service were pensions and healthcare. The older generation thought this social contract was sacrosanct.
Good luck maintaining city services.

we gotta start making these binary - 2 things good for everyone, one of them is going to happen. Locals get to pick 1 - not encase land they don't own in amber because they like the vibes.
you get a rest stop for delivery workers or a new skyscraper housing development. if you vote neither you get both.

I read a great article about the NY construction costs vs. Paris and other metros recently. NY cost 5x more and took many more years. There is so much corruption in the system here unfortunately

Ha! Didn’t you see that he’s trying to cosponsor the bill that it would make it illegal for congresspeople to enrich themselves by selling they’re story if convicted of crimes.

You’re confused. I said we should fire the current nypd force, not let them continue their ~10 year announced work slowdown wherein they just decide when they want to enforce the law and when they don’t, usually capriciously based on how they feel.
