Paramus, they're building another one nearby that location.

Seriously mind blowing. 🤯. I wasn't impressed with the Amazon bodegas but it's a different experience when you're hand picking the fruit, ordering meat from the butcher, going to the bathroom, etc. Literally just put things in your carryout bag and walk right out. Soooo seamless and convenient.

The problem is that your personal opinions don't pay my multi-thousand dollar deductible for which I'm paying as a taxpayer for you not to have.

Healthcare costs have increased beyond inflation. The taxpayers shouldn't be on the hook for paying that for you when we have our own increased healthcare costs to pay for. You don't deserve better than the taxpayers who pay your salaries.

it was a ballerina-model joyously dancing through what looked like a particularly drab looking convenience store to grab some prepackaged "fresh" food and tap her card at the kiosk to checkout without any cashier.

like the selling point was that these stores had all the fun of a bus station Quick Check but without any people around.

The comments about how long it takes to conduct a trial are valid, but it seems that's something our politicians and justice system deem adequate (without further funding).

I don't think we have ppl elected or entrenched in the roles that have the power to make changes..... That can be trusted, regardless of which side of the fence they sit. Democratic controlled state.... And the poor are treated so bad and made to eat shit all day... And the alternative are the raving mad republicans we have who just want him crow back.

Prosecutors need to conduct cases with more integrity, police need more integrity, and the laws need to be made so that they are effective, and everything needs to be appropriately funded so they can be accountable for their efforts.

This guy, for all I care, should just be shoved into a NYCHA building's furnace and we call it a day. Nothing to save here, just some trash that needs to be discarded. Rapists and pedos all belong in the same place if they can't be put in the deepest corner of a prison.

I actually like the light-rail option, reminds me of San Francisco’s Embarcadero Street. Which also has busy intersections. What’s stopping the city from adding the light rails now?

The tunnels underneath could be well lit and connected to the subway stations below like a lot of subway stations in Manhattan around time square, Rockefeller, Penn station and Grand Central station.

There's loads of spots depending on how much time you want to spend on transit. You could park as far out as New Haven CT or Brewster NY and take the regional rail (MTA) in to Grand Central. Though that's a 2 hour trip.

I guess it depends on what tradeoffs you'd prefer to make.

  • You can drive all the way, pay the tolls, and put your car in a garage all day for $60-80 (or more).
  • Chance it with street parking and figuring out when/which meters you have to feed, and whether you have to move your car every two hours or whatever
  • Pick your favorite station that looks like it has parking nearby on google maps, and decide how much time on the train is too much that you'd have preferred to just pay for the garage anyway
