The grown up thing to do would be to just TRY and walk into bars and see what happens instead of posting on Reddit. Hardly any bar without a bouncer cards people unless you look like a toddler.

When I was 19 with a beard but no fake ID, my friends and I decided to go to the village idiot. They had a bouncer checking IDs at the door, my friends had their fakes checked, when it was my turn I just looked at the bouncer and said, "I don't have ID". He stared at me for a second and said, "Good thing you look like you're 40" and let me in.

All this to say, if you go into a bar and get carded, just leave and go to another bar, and they won't. It's just not that hard. Also bars at restaurants are less likely to card, because underage kids don't typically hang out at restaurant bars.

If he’s 45 and actually looks like it, he’ll be fine. 80% of places won’t ID him. If you try going to one that does, just go somewhere else. You’ll probably have better luck with fancier bars, breweries, etc., than clubs.

What do you mean where can you go? Without a wallet? Anywhere that doesn't require a wallet. What a tourist-ass question. How long are you here for? What's your situation? Lend him money and get on with your day.

Even if they fire you, they will pay your salary for those 6mo as part of your non compete.

I’d also imagine the place you are going to is used to that as well. We had to wait close to 4 months for a guy we hired on my team recently.

Unemployment is a joke for a highly paid worker in finance/tech. I think it’s like 400 something a week. The amount of time it takes to file and show that you are looking for jobs costs more than that of my time.
