I remember tokens and I'm still alive. I wish that option would come back.
I'll let myself out thanks.

I struck out at several 7-11s and CVSes but I finally found one at a gaming parlor in Chinatown (the one on Grand St close to Shu Jiao Fu Zhou)

The cyclists aren't that bad most of the time. If i'm in riding the park I'm just trying to get home after work, quickly, like anyone else does. You just gotta also carry a bit of consideration for everyone else in the park, as we all should. You know, just pay a bit of attention if you're on the drives.

first off neither is beating your kid like this article suggests they are doing in yeshivas.
& two
islamic extremism is a cultural practice tho. it isn't part of the muslim religion as a whole, 100% of course. but if it isn't cultural then what is it? economical? obviously not. it's roots are anti-western & involve changing the cultural zeitgeist of regions globally. that's just pure fact. & if we're talking about values, traditions, & societal norms— that's literally the definition of culture
terrorism in general isn't cultural of course that should go without saying for you people. but islamic extremism isn't just outright terrorism—there's a whole set of customs & culture that are attached to it. many muslim's even agree. i know plenty from the middle east that have studied & lived through islamic extremism.

They’ll move them when they’re obstructing traffic, push them out in the street and the city will move to get traffic moving
losvatoslocos2111 t1_jaqpuaz wrote
The NYPD claims they’ll tow a car if it’s not ina parking space. We acquired a massive floor jack and will put the cars in the street soon and see what the NYPD or DOS actually does. We had a car with bullet holes and half a license plate dropped in a spot and left abandoned for months. Multiple reports blah blah blah “ongoing police investigation”. The fucker/owner got bailed out of jail, ona gun charge, and just came and took his “seized/under investigation” car and drove it off. Now detectives are asking us for info and pics of the car. No boot, all 311 calls and PD visits basically told us to go fuck our selves. I’m just pulling cars into the street and seeing what they do. This is so dumb and literally the only people I see caring about are on Reddit. Has this been in the times or post?

Did they close the outer most lane? If so, weight on the farthest end of the cantilever will induce more moment and stress on the support.

Every time I have walked in that park nobody on a bike or running obeys the traffic light so you can cross and the douches who think it's the tour de France are the worst

If they make it wider I would hope they have half a brain and example the weight bearing aspect as well
Jimmy_kong253 t1_jaqglgg wrote
If you have a opportunity to make it wider then go for. Because eventually if the Democrats and environmentist plans come to reality we all are going to be all electric in the future. So you can have your earth saving benefits well also being realistic about the fact that traffic is going to always happen hence why the BQE should be wider.

Bruhhhh!!! This is literally me. I hope wageworks either negotiates something with Apple Pay soon or create a chipper card because the easypauXxpress metrocard aren’t going to work after they take away all the swipe machines, which I read they are going to start phasing out soon 🤦🏻♀️

Tell that to the Kosziosko bridge. After they increased the lanes there the bottle neck on that part of the BQE is not even a fraction as bad as it used to be.
NY is a unique city and those studies done elsewhere don’t always translate

Does anyone know if there is an OMNY card with EasyPay (auto reloads) enabled? That would be the best because then it would work with the Wageworks card (pre-tax funds) for ultimate convenience.
Right now, because Wageworks doesn't play well with Apple Pay, I'm still swiping my EasyPayXxpress Metrocard that is linked to Wageworks, and am slightly bummed every time I take more than 12 rides a week.

This is really neither an appropriate nor a relevant comparison. Many things you could choose, this wasn't it. Terrorism isn't a cultural practice, and suggesting as such is a bit damaging.

Anytime you use a dangerous weapon/instrument and cause any physical injury, it's an automatic Assault 2, doesn't have to be serious physical injury. Serious physical injury only applies by striking someone, etc.
You can't stab someone and get a DAT with assault 3 lol. But yes, as to your two drunks example, you could punch someone and only get charged with harassment.

DSNY can only tag cars with no plates or facsimiles. NYPD is responsible for removing [towing] all vehicles except those that are considered derelict. [Cars with no real value]

It’s $5 for the card alone with a minimum of $1 to load the card.

In this case enforcement is handled by the State Education Department, which is not an executive agency. NYSED is controlled by the Board of Regents who are appointed by the state Assembly.
