Absolutely not. Went to a Catholic school with some real shits who would have gotten a smack a century ago. They’ll just expel you now

It sounds like OP didnt really have a choice. It sounds like it was a topic in a story they were going to cover.

Yep. And the yeshivas take money to provide special Ed services and after school programs and redistribute the funds to themselves and their families. There was a story that said they had fleeced voters out of something like 2 billion dollars

I mean religious schools shouldn’t be banned, and that’d be super unconstitutional anyway.
But religious schools shouldn’t receive a cent of taxpayer money, whether they’re teaching the kids Judaism or Islam or that Jesus rode a dinosaur or whatever.

You don't see how commenting on religious schooling is commenting on religion?

I feel like you think this because you haven't been to an actually segregated city, like Atlanta. Imagine not seeing a black person in an area the size of Manhattan.

You can do whatever you want if you want it to be part of your religion, but you can’t take public money for it.

The system is not just underfunded, but also very wasteful.
A tiny quantity of individuals being repeatedly arrested and released are consuming a disproportionate amount of resources in the police, DA, public defense, courts.

In all honesty, your personal idea of your personal space and what the law says are different. If you're standing in a public space waiting for a cab and I take your photo, I'm allowed as long as it's not specifically for commercial purpose with you as the subject of the photo. Like I said, a photo of breasts where that's what is being focused on is a whole other thing.

People don't realize how POC rarely interact with white people before college, if they even get to attend. I grew up here and the only white people I've ever interacted with were my teachers and maybe medical professionals.

Next time don't terrorize protesters. Protests should be able to happen.

If it’s just a picture, it is not illegal. If it’s specifically of a woman’s breasts or up skirts, then it is illegal.

I don’t think that’s really true, the Lower East Side being the most obvious example. There are plenty of places in the outer boroughs with everyone.
