They were doing their job. Remember corporations will do anything to ensure they are never liable. Even badly train their employees to just follow the script. Someone had to write that script for them to even say something as, "Sorry You Didn't Pay, Bye."

Yeah I’m well aware. That is how guns are carried. They may have the safety on or off depending on user choice and mechanical function of the firearm. They may have no safety at all. They usually have one in the tube ready to go so the user does not need to rack the slide to put the gun into battery, because if you need a gun you need it right away.

Well. I really dislike Twitter but considering that this is about the lack of proactive actions to prevent ISIS using it and not about them actively allowing it, they are definitely right that it is not the same. I mean it is still a question if Twitter can and should be requited to take proactive actions but just calling it the same as aiding and abetting terror is a stretch. The same way one could also argue that Toyota aids or abets terror when they produce white pickup trucks. I would rather look at companies like TikTok which have much more dubious interests here.

I also have to wonder what kind of person assumes Amazon vets the claims of every product and seller on their website.

Who doesn't see Amazon as a rapacious marketeer that will do almost anything to make a buck? It treats its employees like shit, but she thought they'd be very concerned about mislabeled products?!?

The article doesn’t say this man was carrying either legally or illegally. But folks, if you are going to be a responsible concealed carry holder, you need to train. Many states including mine require you to have at least fired 200 rounds to renew your license, but you really need to do more then that. You need to practice your draw from many positions (of course, do this with a unloaded firearm), seated, crouching, on your back, etc. This will help you find which carry positions work best for you. Also, practice firing from these positions if you can. Many people use small of the back holsters which are terrible if an attacker has knocked you down on your back. Also, this usually applies to women and purses, off-body carry isn’t great. With off-body carry you are far more likely to have a accidental discharge while fumbling through your bag. In an intense moment you don’t want to be fumbling around trying to figure out how to get a good purchase on your firearm.

Not if you believe that they shouldn't be hosting actual russian government agents. Russian sympathizers is so broad a term as to be useless. The comparison I'd draw would be to actual government agents. Those are the people from ISIS I'd want to stop, people who actually work for them. Not just some dickhead in his basement living in the west going "oh I love ISIS".

In this comparison you could take the people suffering under Isis rule and twitter the technology as analogous. That being they're being used against their will to prop up something that they shouldn't be used to prop up. Putin, ISIS members power and the spreading of ISIS propaganda.

To that end if the people who own Twitter, the platform, aren't able or willing to stop them being used then they shouldn't benefit from any of the things that come from being housed in the west, just the same as people who break the embargo against Russia should face consequences too.
