To prevent the company that he owns now from being held responsible for something the company did before he owned it, his lawyers have to justify the things that the company did before he owned it. It's not like he can concede that the policy was wrong, change it, and any judgement will be enforced against the previous ownership.

I've seen a video of 30-50 feral hogs running through someone's yard.
They're occasionally deadly and always destructive.

I don’t know the details to the case but I do believe some people do not wish to live peacefully within society. Those people ideally should be exiled but we don’t do that so yeah if they are actively against societal norms and are seeking to cause harm then it is only retribution they should face.
