They are required by law to hold some in reserve for emergencies and redirections.

I think an investigation was launched when a drone caused a significant number of flights to redirect from Gatwick London, to Heathrow London and some aircraft skipped the holding queue due to running low on reserves.

Because a significant number had to divert they had to divert and wait in a holding pattern.

I don't think anyone broke the rules but I think some changes were made as those who ran the lowest fuel (to save weight and cost) also ended up with priority landing.

I don't think anyone broke the rules but changes were made at the airport to redirect further away sooner rather than using waiting patterns.

This article's video isn't loading for me which is a shame.

TLDR; they have to have some spare in case of stuff.

Neighbors assisted suspect gently to the ground with minimal amount of force needed to control the situation.

Unfortunately due to suspects continued combative behavior and resistance, serious injuries were sustained despite citizens efforts to avoid such.

Afterwords the citizens effecting the arrest promptly sought medical attention for the patient.

Stories like this always come to mind when I read articles about how prosecutors don't prosecute "minor crimes" because they are "too understaffed" or "underfunded". Or when I read articles about how the police don't bother pursuing things like package theft or home break-ins where the items stolen don't exceed a certain amount for the same reasons.

Part of me thinks it's a load of crap and they're just lazy

Right, kids these days are very clumsy. He was probably trying to help the lady get into her car when he fell several times. Others came to assist him and, realizing he had hurt himself, called him an ambulance.

It's like that guy leaving a best buy and fell off the curb. Luckily a few marines where there to help him.

Putting a sign on the door that says "Women" doesn't have any actual laws and regs behind it.

In fact, I always try to use women's restrooms myself if they're single occupancy obviously... I don't go into big ones with stalls. Why single occupancy ones, though? Because the chances that there will be piss on the ceiling, walls, seat and floor go down slightly vs men's public restrooms, where all that is guaranteed.

In this case, the issue is that the guy is a voyeuristic perv lowlife and thus banned from being exactly that.
