yeah, no. the waivers are going to cover consent to things like washing and ensuring nutrition... restraints for the patients safety... impromptu surgery in the patients room by a nurse is so far out of the parameters of standard practice that I'm baffled anyone would see this as a reasonable measure.

Let's be honest it wasn't because of planes, if it was you don't wait until it crosses the entire continental usa to down it lol.

I think it was just pr personally, lil bit of political capital can go a long way if used correctly, and if there is one thing america wants on china, is political power.

You can be certain of something and change your mind later when presented with new evidence. Sometimes it's best to just commit. Especially in this case where you're already living your life under the assumption that you can tell the difference between reality and a fever dream.

But maybe you are weird and question yourself frequently if you're experiencing reality or not, and if that's the case that just seems unhealthy to me.

Either way, I'll continue to be certain that my reality is real until there's evidence to the contrary.
