Maybe like it's gravity waves or radiation that makes the ship vibrate, thus producing the sound. Also getting cold in the ship could be the heaters breaking or the oxygen escaping or something.
Edit: Gravity waves are probably not the thing, my sci-fi has been getting to me these days

You tried to help him and he ran.. Which was odd behavior in the first place. Then you obviously should have said something to your parents after all. You had information you didn't give up. Spirits become what they are because of what has happened. Usually some injustice on them which can make a spirit fester with anger that turns to rage. So at this point it's about finding where that little boy died and then finding your son too.

Either Loki...or could it be the lady from hell that grew up there? The manequinn like monster with a penchant for slaughter. She had a perfect human form. Whoever it was definitely does not like losing.

You know Jack you are going to die. You could try to make a deal not to die so horribly. Ya took time to post this repeat drop a name and address to the local cops so they can rescue the girls and a list of who and where you disposed of the others and maybe, maybe the rotting thing will make it quick rather than deciding to have some fun. It knows it has you for 24 hours you more than anyone should know what a monster can do with that much time and a captive victim.
