As an IT professional.... I completely understand where this inhuman being could have originated from. We (the IT professionals) have VERY strong feelings about people interrupting us when we are busy. Any tech worth their salt knows that our bodies can conduct electricity as well....so TECHNICALLY intestines COULD be used as wires.... just probably wouldn't get the best results from then. Though I feel that this is less a thing of "best results", and more just anger issues manifested into reality.

Gramps either was the monster when he pulled back the cur with Simon or he lived to tell the tale.

But like I got goosebumps. Have you talked to your mom about gramps lately? About his childhood? Simon and Gertie?

I'd also look into old newspaper articles about 2 missing kids named Simon and Gertie and go to the courthouse to see if you have the public records for their deaths.

OP, you’re not going to like this: you have to accept the small space and realize that you are and will be alright you’re safe, nothing is in there with you trying to get you. It’s just a smaller area than you prefer. Keep reminding yourself of this fact. Once you face this fear, the room evolves into a different form, and you’ll get a step closer to the Answer. I came back after I got my Answer—woke up in my trunk after my kidnapper got in a wreck. I won’t elaborate, but I will say I wasn’t expecting that particular answer, and I don’t like it at all, but I’ve accepted it now. I know someone who never got beyond room 1. I even heard about someone who made it through, and the Answer was a happy ending. Some do get those happy ones; some of us are still confused, and some even go mad when faced with it. Just know that when you get to it, the Answer is always final. Edit for typo/clarity

Why didn't you go to the witch when she beckoned you? You can't steal what is offered freely. I feel you missed an interesting opportunity. Sometimes you need to look past the disgusting habits of those that are different from us.

You missed a second opportunity as well the day you gave birth. Though, this opportunity was likely far darker than the previous. I'm truly so disappointed in you.
