They follow me around whenever I leave the house no matter how I react. I know she gets more out of it when I scare them by acting more aggressive, but if I don’t, they just do it anyway.

No offense but it sounds like you’re giving advice to a grade school kid who gets bullied… which by the way, if they don’t ever retaliate and try to ignore it, they just get harassed worse because there’s no repercussion for them or risk of a threat. That’s when they get bored, so what do they do? Escalate.

If you aren’t doing anything about it, they’ll think you’re afraid. They know enough about psychology that wether or not you show a reaction, you still feel it inside. They don’t need me to react or not, they know it’s damaging and they know what they’re doing would put anybody on alert. They don’t need a reaction.

Have you asked your boss what the name of the meat was? Tell him you liked it and want to get more so you can figure it out. I agree don’t call animal control unless it’s your last resort but also keep yourself safe … do you have a vet you can trust? Maybe talk to them or call one anonymously !

When I spoke with the priest he said this was outside his area of responsibility, and referred me to a separate party to handle the situation.

I've got utmost respect for Christianity and anyone following any particular religion, but after my pastor called the FBI on me over a misunderstanding I've taken a step back from any particular faith. Read most of the holy books and came to the determination that for me personally? It doesn't seem to matter which one you worship so long as you do your utmost to not be a detriment to the world around you and if able, leave the world a better place than when you found it. Or it found you as the case may be
