Philip K. Dick vibes…his son was saved by a pink light and you were saved by pink noise. Glad you’re safe, OP.

I may misunderstand as English is not my first language but when I reread the account of the husband coming home, OP implies that he accused her right from the bat. Also she never swings the stick in his direction and rather breaks it and breakdown on the ground sobbing. But I understand how it might appear dangerous.

If my partner had such a meltdown, I'd be sure to contact at least the emergency services, and maybe involve the police as well if I fear for my safety.

Thank you for the advice! My husband is driving us to the location right now, we aren't gun people so we had to do some sketchy shit in order to get two rifles right away. He has a three hundred something cowboy style rifle and I ended up with a shotgun that you pump. We will be on site in an hour to deal with this beast once and for all. No one chases my baby girl, this ends tonight

you disturbed something you shouldnt have, it has a very good memory and it can identify you just by smelling the air from miles away, it must have found that your daughter had a similar scent as you and connected the dots, i cant help much, i left this buisness a long time ago when my partners died, but i can tell you its weaknesses, it usually comes out at night and doesnt like bright light and it relies on its sense of smell to much, you can carry strong pepper spray or even better there are some chemicals which leave a strong smell which cant be washed off, you can carrythose and spread them aroundin a area to confuse it

you can carry strong flashlights, atleast 700 lumens, shining it in its eyes would stun it for a bit and then you can shoot its remaining eye and it would be blind, senseless and helpless

you can also carry tranquilizers they are effective as that thing's biology is quitesimilar to wolves and bears

good luck and have a safehunt

Wow. I went back to read your story from the start, what an amazing life you are having! You are a great person, I wish I could have friends like Max and Sunny! Do you ever think that maybe you do have something a bit special outside of just being human? Having the special blood that you have, perhaps you got a gift from your mother that you do not yet know, please keep updating your experiences!!

Sorry for the late response, Elizabeth had younger siblings that needed to be taken care of. It was obvious she wouldn't be able to take care of them so she offered herself. Infact her father was insistent on going himself but even he knew it wasn't logical for the future of the young ones. Hope that answers your question.
