Uhhh, I think Twitter is going a little overboard. Lol the streets on fire is also a bit out of proportion. I was out there, their are small fires on a major road, but they are few and contained. Not destroying buildings and neighborhoods.

I honestly don’t know what we’re gona do when he passes the judicial reform. Personally, I think the time for strikes is before, and not after.

It’s a double standard to expect someone else to lose a retirement the have spent a lifetime paying into for a minor offense while everyone else gets to theirs.

Technically it's not a loophole, because the supreme court can legally rule out such legislation (that contradicts existing laws, for example). However, current minister of justice declared the goverment will not "accept" that, and will treat it as a coup detat (which is what said goverment is being accused of; very common rhetoric by our right wing politicians). That's where the tanks, or the threat of, come in. In addition to the accumulating erosion of judiciary independence in the past decade, we don't have much assurance from that direction.

From the Twitter updates I'm seeing, sounds like Israel is basically in a full revolution, right now. Politicians homes are being infiltrated, military unwilling or unable to respond. Serious stuff, folks.
