I’ve heard some interesting perspectives on the whole India buying Russian oil thing. It seems to have been a strategic option to allow Russian oil to continue to get into the international supply chains (so as to not drastically impact overall supply/pricing) while also drastically reducing the amount of money that Russia makes off of it.

At this point Russia is essentially losing money on every barrel of oil it sells to India.

Iran has attacked us soldiers and interests a shit ton outside the US, they rely heavily on proxy wars to get their displeasure with us across as well. Anyone who thinks Iran has never attacked the US hasn't been paying attention. Mostly they are pissed at our efforts to keep them from developing and setting lose in terror circles nuclear arms. We cripple them with sanctions to punish their efforts on that front and in their military support and strikes against our own bases, soldiers, and those of our allies and interests.

The issue isn’t that he grew emotionally, I think everyone can get behind and support individual growth. The issue is the circumstance that caused the growth which is dishonest. It’s one of those situations where he’s not necessarily sorry for the actions but more so because he got caught. No doubt in my mind he’d do it again, and because of that should no longer be in a position of power to make those kinds of decisions if he can’t hold himself to the same standard he holds average civilians. If everyone could block a mugshot we wouldn’t have any out there at all

My opinion is that he is not growing whatsoever. This is a PR cover story so he can make a change for his direct family member so that she's less recognizable for the jury and so that the jury won't see any photos of her in an orange suit. If he simply made this decision without a family member being involved I would buy it, but this I don't buy. I wouldn't be surprised if this policy change reverts the second this case is over.

We did nothing after the Saudis destroyed the World Trade Center on 9/11. We protected them, let them leave the country, won't unseal the documents that show their collusion with the terrorists.

But we did invade Iraq, for some odd reason. Of course, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.

Here we are retaliating against Iranian-backed groups. So we made allies of those who attacked us (Saudis), and made enemies of those who have never attacked us here in the US (Iran).

Weird.

Well I would agree Liberals got some juice out the gates when they took Trudeau as leader.. and when Trudeau said they would legalize cannabis.

I dunno what they have now, except for a platform that they aren’t the crazy conservatives. And I would agree.

If we eliminated first past the post voting and used a system like ranked choice, we definitely would get a different government. For the time I think we will keep having a Liberal lead minority government.. the only way to stop it is with a majority conservative government and the Conservative don’t exactly seem to be getting away from crazy land with the shit they say and do.
