What is it that drives the youths of today to feel this is a viable outlet? I don't remember this being a thing when I was in school in the late 80's and early 90's.
What can we realistically do about it that doesn't involve blast doors and bullet proof windows that people seem to be fans of these days.

Wait for them to replace things that were old but sturdy with literally the cheapest possible replacement (that's worse in every way except now it's painted gray) and act like that's an upgrade.

Right, but the RO should have been enough to let them know he left the state and a warrant should have been issued.

TBH this just sounds lazy. There are meal prep and cooking subs that could help you with ideas and recipes, and there are many tasty, cheap, and nutritious foods that require little or no prep.
You're spending $6,000-7,200 per year on delivery food.

My guess is by car.
I’m sure he was required to stay in the state.

I don’t really buy hot dogs so I looked it up. Oscar Mayers 10 count uncured hot dogs is $2.99. All beef Oscar Mayers 10 count is $4.19.

Yeah, until a family dies in the fire. Stop and think before wishing destruction and harm others. The owners would MAKE money if that happened

It’s because Uber and its competitors have hemorrhaged money nearly every quarter of their existence.
They are relying on autonomous vehicles or complete market domination to become profitable. They will probably go bankrupt.

Unfortunately, he didn't just shoot himself first and save a lot of suffering for two innocent families.
I hope they make a speedy recovery. Teachers and school staff aren't paid enough for the bullshit they are forced to deal with.

I mean if you don’t like the pricing, just pick it up yourself. I fail to see the point in this. It’s not like we have a constitutionally protected right to food delivery.

Innocent until proven guilty.
The question really is, how was he able to leave the state? Even with presumed innocence, he should still be required to stick around the state the charges are in. And if she was able to get a restraining order on him, they should have been able to see that he had homicide charges in another state.

You just perfectly described why I couldn’t stay in my Boystown/North Halsted apartment after college. The apartment was a dump while I lived there but I’d kill to pay that little for that location again

Yes. Denver's already doing exactly what you said. It's working well. Here's an article on it from the Denver Post.

Now here’s the issue. Security deposits. I got salary job this year and things are getting better, but it’s rough.
I want a yard for my dog, rental homes in my area are going for 3k. So the deposit is easily 5k. I’m going to get a good amount back from this one, but it’s only 1k
And you’re acting like the price of food isn’t insane at the moment lmao. A pack of hotdogs is 10 bucks for the cheap ones

Ever since covid the bus stop literally outside of my place was permanently removed from the line :(
I live in a more residential side of town. There’s a few places I can walk to within 6 minutes, but there’s like only three stores with reasonable prices.
The other stores in the area want 28$ for a rice plate and 6 small shrimp. Or are bars, a man can only eat so much fried food

Dude, you could almost certainly afford a better apartment just off of cutting delivery out of your life. 4-500 a month is ridiculous.

It’s bad, I get food for my gf as well. She has a DoorDash pass so we don’t pay for delivery. But for a month it’s probably between 400-500 for food if we do it all the time. And then add another 100 for tips
