I was merely a teenager at the time and I’m definitely getting anxiety tied back to that time. Thankfully, the experience of ‘08 fueled me to be careful financially in my 20s and pay off debt ASAP and save up an emergency fund.

Education is an existential threat to Conservatism and White "Christian" Nationalism. Red States are pulling out all the stops to prevent losing power by creating more generations of hate filled drooling idiots.

Even the Saudi's are pulling out at this point. They do not care where the profits come from. Period. If they don't see any way for this bank to make money it's doomed.

I'm so surprised Creidt Suisse is even open at this point. It seriously seems like every 2 years we hear something new about them that puts them at thr point of collapse.

given that a school takeover seems like a fairly big deal and states like Texas have recently been pushing laws that expands the GOP’s control over school systems, it would be really great if they expanded on what the critics were saying and if there is any legitimacy to their claim, other than taking the governments word on it

Our brains really struggle with these traumatic memories/events. I’m actually doing well, surprisingly.
I think some of that is because of how I see her passing… Just finally not hurting any more.
I hope you are doing well too. Thank you for the kind words.

It’s bad politics to fix pipes. You won’t see any return during your term in office, and more importantly none of your voters want their yards and roads torn up for months and to have construction crews outside their homes.
It’s a real problem.
