Over the decades NJ Lottery pick 5 and pick 6 have increased the number of balls to decrease the odds of winning under the guise of people wanting bigger jackpots. In the 80’s I used to win often. Around the 90’s and 00’s I never won anything so I stopped playing. The pick used to have 36 numbers. You probably have better odds gambling in a casino.

I fly out of EWR every week, drive to get there, park in P6, and have never used the airtrain. I fly delta so I only go to terminal B but I know Delta is moving to the new terminal A this fall/winter. Will I have to use the airtrain then? Do you only need to use the airtrain to transfer between terminals?

Line up with the Uber drivers along the side of the road. Now that they put jersey barriers on that dirt patch triangle, that’s the best option. Although I have seen cars waiting on the dirt alongside the new barriers

Here are three North Jersey to Central Jersey (Iselin Metro Park) average travel times, each way, during rush hours (7AM to 9AM, M-F): Ridgewood to Iselin Metro park via parkway averages 50 mins. Cresskill to Iselin Metro Park averages 1 hour 15 mins via 95 and parkway. Ft Lee to Iselin Metro Park averages 55 mins via 95 and parkway. Done all three routes several times. Inclement weather conditions and/or accidents will vastly increase the travel time. Hope these help.

New Jersey consumers reported losing $231 million to fraud in 2022 according to the Federal Trade Commission, up 77% from 2021 when they reported being scammed out of over $130 million.

Federal data published on Thursday shows that while the number of reported fraud cases year over year has gone down, the amount of money they’ve reported losing has in turn skyrocketed.

There were 48,226 cases reporting over $231 million lost last year, compared to 2021 when there were 57,435 cases reporting $130 million lost to fraud. The median amount lost to fraud last year in New Jersey was $800, up from $508 the year before.

The most common type of fraud was imposter scams, accounting for a third of New Jersey fraud reports last year, according to federal data.
