Not that long, up until late 80s and early 90s, that was very Italian neighborhood. And up until 2010s there wasn't as many multifamily homes and townhouses. A lot of those homes were built at the beginning of 20th century.

Now, a lot of single family homes and even parking lots are being turned into massive multifamily homes, townhouses, and McMantions.

I know this area for over 20 years. Overpopulation was never as bad as in the last 5-10 years, and judging by the new construction, it will only get worse.

Between $3-5 depending on how far it is. The only time it’s going to be more than $5 is if you’re bringing multiple things and you can’t carry in one trip to the door

This topic is always a magnet for idiots who like to pretend they tip $20 for take out lol

My wife flies A LOT for business. We live 15 min from EWR. I go in smoothly and exit easily.

I tell her to let me know when she’s at baggage claim so I’d leave and pick her up perfectly without being told to leave by the cops.

50000000x better than Logan Airport (Boston)

It is so confusing. I fly in a couple times a year. I need to head west on 78 and I swear I’m going in every possible direction before I get to 78 and then there’s a sudden left exit-only down to Newark. I’ve done that a few times also.

I went to Boston University then RVCC then Rutgers for undergrad and graduate school. I finished with $110k in student loan debt. Nearly all of it was HESAA NJCLASS loans at astronomical interest rates.

I was paying over $1k a month and eventually refinanced through SOFI to get my monthly payments down. In 2016 I had to put them in forbearance after losing my job. I decided to start my own business but it took me awhile to get back on my feet and after a year of forbearance they were about to continue payments, which I could not pay. I basically told them if we don't settle I'd file for Chapter 13 bankruptcy and you'd have to deal with chasing me for the next 10+ years to recoup it all.

They agreed to settle for $60k on a $100k balance and I took out a different type of loan with a much lower interest rate. Still pay $500+ a month but not to them! Small W. Fuck NJCLASS.
