That's an old picture. A-1 is demolished and flattened. The AirTrain project is next up on the list, after the other two banjo's (A-2 & A-3) are demolished - which is in progress right now. Once that work is done, the rest of the gates will open up (Phase 2). The AirTrain's maintenance shed is where you see "Bombardier Transportation (that is a spur off the main line) and the PA wasn't going to run the new line from there. So you would either take a bus or walk to the P1 station (where the rental cars are presently at - CONRAC will be fully open during Phase 2) The design for the new Terminal A has an extension that will connect with the new Terminal B (which will be a whole new building) in the future. This situation with the AirTrain will be a ongoing situation, as more busses will shuttle passengers between Terminals (Landside) and passengers (Airside). Bottom line: once the new AirTrain is done, it will be a easy - right in front station. But that will be a few years coming since I don't know how long the AirTrain project will take. The new Terminal B is in the pipeline as well. We'll have to bear with for a while.

You should not have posted this. A developer will see this and want to build 200 houses there. Nevertheless a nice picture.

NPR has the Moth radio hour, and the most incredible stories I've ever heard, like the British man who crossed the English channel in a bathtub and almost caused an international incident.

Something something free market, if no1 wants to do a job for what you’re paying capitalism would dictate you go out of business. But in reality there’s always a sucker to take advantage of

EWR website shows their IS a walkable connection. So two options 1) via bus shuttles and 2) a walkway via terminal A garage and a “covered exterior walkway” and one elevator/ escalator. Will have to see how much of a pain that is. They have to replace the air train anyway as it doesn’t connect to long term parking and they’ve know that for a while.

Serious PSA for everyone. Im not sure if this species can spread Lyme disease but if you find a tick attached to you go to the doctor. Lyme is easy to treat early but if you don't recognize the symptoms and/or let it go, you could end up like me with crippling joint pain and a myriad of other horrible symptoms that still fuck me to this day. You do not want it believe me.

I’m sure most people would if they didn’t already have $15 of fees added on top of the cost of their food.

Start by going to a county college. Finish your undergraduate degree at Rutgers. Work for a company that offers tuition reimbursement for your graduate degree. Not perfect, but helps to reduce your out of pocket costs.

Ha..your telling me. Have you ever taken the GO28 route as well? Apparently it is similar to the 62 route but more geared towards those that are flying. I’ll continue taking the 62 tho if I’m traveling alone

look at that: frequent, relatively cheap service is what a lot of people want.
That route could totally support 6-12 min frequencies, especially during all this terminal/Airtrain construction.

Let's waste money connecting AirTrain to the new terminal A then AirTrain is going to be replaced.

Separation of Church and State doesn’t mean religious people can’t hold office or participate in politics though - it means the government’s policies and actions can’t favor one religion over another.

It’s in the Foundations of our Democracy, a DEFINING ATRIBUTE that we have an unambiguous and clear separation of church and state.

I prefer podcasts where I can actually learn things; ones that back up their claims and cite their sources.
