Um, not sure why the size of boats in Belmar is relevant....a whale that gets struck in the shipping channel near say, sandy hook, by a giant freighter, can easily end up washing ashore in Belmar

i got pulled over for doing 44 in a 30 (fair enough), but literally a few minutes before an AMG and newfangled benz were ripping through traffic, no blinkers, legit almost caused an accident when the lane merged. mentioned it to the cop and he shrugged. kinda pissed me off ngl.

Yes, it’s nuts! I went to LA for business when I was younger and all I remember was the traffic and homelessness!

Your entitled to your opinion man and I agree. It’s no everybody but it’s certainly a few, especially road ragers. Don’t worry about downvotes, a bunch of people here downvoted me and I was just defending myself!
NowThatsaTitty t1_j9iaz40 wrote
Agree with everything you said. But have you ever driven the 101 or 405 in LA?! Its the equivalent of adding 4 or 5 lanes to the GSP or TP and give the drivers a lot more meth !!

Are diners the best place for stand up? Jim M bets his Taylor ham it is!

Fine. I’ll say it and take all the downvotes. It seems like every other car has a cloud of weed smoke coming from it. I’m all for legalization, but a large segment of the population seem to equate legalization with legal to drive while smoking.

I think it's more like we look at our books and realize giving our children the kind of life they need to succeed has become harder, more expensive, and less attainable.
Essentially what happened with Japan. We're having so much trouble keeping our own heads above water, we can't make those important life markers in a financial sense. Affording young adult life, an apartment, a house, marriage, basic health coverage, or school.
If we can't afford that, then why would we torture kids by forcing them to live a life without enough resources.

Bayonne and Communipaw aren't path stops, you take the light rail to the path. Which might be fine for your needs, but something to keep in mind you do have to transfer if you plan to head into the city.
And there is nothing wrong with JSQ, but it is urban gentrifying area where you will see homeless people hanging around and the like. Same with Communipaw. However both neighborhoods offer more urban amenities within themselves than Harrison does.

Last time a big local project was "paused", it set back infrastructure by over a decade. Climate change marches on.. we need to get something done other than more talk.

Why? You're already watching rusty freighters obscure the horizon as they float by... At least wind turbines look clean.

The other known threat is vessel strikes, wind farms have vessels on the water, but they’re required to have marine mammal observers onboard, and are a very small % of all the vessels on the water in the area, which do not have human observers looking for these animals.. idk it seems like the “other” thread doesn’t exist because, well, there isn’t really a valid “other” explanation….

If you support COVID vaccination and supporting Ukraine through arms deals you are a big pharma and military industrial complex shill. I'm really disappointed because we did in fact cover this in the meeting back on 12/16 and you were definitely there because you brought the orange cranberry scones. I'll send you a copy of the minutes, please read them before the next gathering.
