You can get from the Manasquan train station to the Manasquan Reservoir (5 mile bike path) via the capital to coast trail. On the way back, if you want to change things up, you can take Belmar Boulevard to the Belmar beach and ride on the beach back to Manasquan or another shore train station

It's maybe a 5 minute bike ride down College Ave to George St. Takes you straight to Landing Lane Bridge. If you don't want to ride on George St you can take College Ave to Buccleuch Park that's parallel to George St and take that until you get to Landing Lane.
Along with your Princeton Junction suggestion, you can also go down to the Hamilton station and get to the towpath via Carnegie Road on the other side of The Crossings at Hamilton Station apartment complex. Train to Hamilton, ride your bike all the way back to New Brunswick. Not a bad way to spend a nice day.

Erm, I'd debate that. The D&R towpath ends at Landing Lane. Can you provide a map of the routes from the train station to the towpath?

Yes I was trying to agree with you that people are not very nice these days, I can’t help but make connections between ordinary people getting more obnoxious while our former president was encouraging them to overthrow our government and pretend it’s normal. Some people just have no shame.

Everyone needs to realize this is a thing no matter where you go in the world.

> The NJ transit stop is a 5 minute ride to the trailhead.
The train service out to High Bridge is not optimal, & geared primarily to commuters. OP should check the schedule carefully.

The D&R Canal Towpath is a short walk from the Bound Brook Station, on the Raritan Valley Line.
ETA: maybe ask on r/nycbike ?
EETA: ride the NEC to Princeton Jct, take the Dinky to Princeton, & hop over to the D&R Towpath by Lake Carnegie.

Reply to Non-Certification CPR Courses by matt151617
Not an expert but fairly familiar with the process.
I think Good Samaritan laws would cover you if you are not certified and attempting to perform CPR in a life-threatening situation but have heard some anxiety that you are still putting yourself at risk of litigation.
Googling "free CPR class" it seems like there are some results that are under $15 and in some cases, free. So you could look at that.
I feel like I've seen libraries and/or community centers offer free first aid and/or CPR courses in the past. Maybe you want to cajole your local one of those to put one on...with the taxpayer money you have already paid them.

It's a missed opportunity for the state to make a lot of money - start fining people for following too closely, lurking in the left lane, not merging properly, swerving/weaving, having a car that's obscenely loud, etc.

Exactly man! It’s crazy and I’m lucky the Main Street in my new town isn’t too bad. But freehold has become chaotic and once was a quiet Main Street now is packed with cars. Yes NJ is full of complainers! 😂

Yup. Check out r/newhampshire for daily complaints about people from MA. Apparently they're all trash and NH natives have never caused any problems ever.

I completely understand and I usually to 10 over in the left lane really just to pass. What is annoying is the slow driver in the left lane. Just move over! 😂 and you’re right, zippers are impossible now and that is why there is a lot of traffic.
