Yes, we did. Spoke to a lot of ticket officers and answered the same thing - we're not blocking their driveway. Officers that were successful with giving us tickets clearly didn't check.

did you make sure to park and not block any part of the driveway? in NYC the rule is breaking the plane meaning no part of your car can be in the driveway

You should have seen it 30 years ago or even 10 years ago. I am in Atlantic highlands and back in the day you prayed for shitty weather on weekends. You just could not move once Sandy Hook parking closed (usually by 8:30 am). People would picnic on the median between Atlantic highlands and highlands because traffic just stopped dead. Nobody (bennys) knew where to go so all of 36 just crawled south, then throw in the old drawbridge opening up or the beach clubs in seabright. The new bridge helps alot and traffic is nowhere like it was. Route 36 north on a nice Sunday late afternoon still sucks.

Lowkey weed smells like skunk. So it could have been that not weed.

i'm not 100% sure but I used to maintain army vehicles and my car long ago and know that everything requires lubrication and it's all oil based and heat/friction needs to be controlled

hahahha no i know it’s not just a star but i was wondering what made this different. i moved to texas and already got mine. didn’t seem like a different process. btw texas DMV is so much better than NJ. first, i don’t have to go every time i lose my license which is often. they mail me a new one. the people were nice when i got my first one and you sit with the employee to go through the paperwork.

Edit: most likely language barrier. If the car is parked on the street, its free public parking space (unless its handicap parking and be mindful of parking certain hours, 2hr parking limit etc). If they keep calling the police and you see them, get it documented with a report. If not make sure that a cad entry was made. You can then take them to the local court for harassment charges.

…maybe. It was originally supposed to be banned in 2012, and they keep postponing the deadline.

it means proper maintenance wasn't being done and there is too much friction which leads to heat and then fire. since they will have oil based lubrication I'm guessing the heat ignites the lube

Well, it’s not just a star- it has other security markings too. But the important thing is they (supposedly) do a much more extensive background check on you before they give you the version that has the star.

the freight line that goes through dumont and haworth is mostly containers but i've seen chemical cars on those trains. Might have to go out and film it to watch for fire in the wheels

Exits near 78 and 80 when heading north around 5 PM seems to be the worst.

Which portion? Is it congested a lot? Considering moving to Bridgewater and wonder if it is blocked anywhere near that.

Does it ever get congested? Above Route 22 from Somerville, lets say.

For it to be a grow operation, the acreage of outdoor flower grows would have to be massive. And they don’t grow this time of year. They’re nearly identical to tomatoes in that sense. Can’t smell anything that FAR with indoor farms.
It is a skunk.

You don’t get a ticket if you parked in a way that was legal
My advice is stop being a shitty neighbor and parking like a dipshit.
