Real ID is a drivers license with a star on it. In 2025 the TSA will be requiring them (or basically a passport) to board flights. That is if they don't push it back again, it was supposed to be required starting in 2012.

This was one specific agency. I’m all for police reform but let’s not pretend one specific agency in the US speaks for all. Different agencies have radically different hiring processes. State police requires at least 60 credits of college and most have a bachelors. Cities like Trenton and Camden desperately need police officers so they don’t have as stringent of requirements. Richer towns likely have more educated cops like the state police.

Oh it is still almost entirely senior villages. But there are one or two cool businesses there now too. In the same plaza I think they have a motorcycle leather shop, and there are rumors of a Lidl going somewhere in town in the next few years.

Cool. I grew up down there and Whiting to me always meant senior villages. I'll check it out next time I'm down there.

Ocean City near 34th street. Go down a few blocks but there’s a great park for the kids there and a few good places to grab food. The beach is wonderful.

Yeah, it is in the Whiting Commons with Connolly Dermatology. I live down in Forked River and literally just searched for used book stores in NJ and they came up one day. They have only been there for about a year and a half, I think. Small shop, but a pretty good selection.
