If I see the person in front of me looking down when they are the first person in line at the light, I honk my horn immediately when the light changes. I don’t give them even half a second to realize. Especially a green arrow. Those are precious seconds for the line, guy.

My vet is still doing this, and I actually prefer it. My cat gets to hang in my car with me while she waits, whereas before she would get scared in the waiting room if dogs were barking or it was especially noisy for whatever reason while we waited. My vet also calls me as soon as the vet tech brings my cat in and gives me a full run down of what she’s doing while she’s doing it, and answers any questions I may have right then. However, I totally get if you would prefer to be in the room with your pet. If it’s a deal breaker for you, I’d try shopping around for another vet. Good luck!
