I had a guy in an escalade run the red light on 46 in fairfield. Got it all on dashcam including where he stopped (auto parts place behind 46). Took the footage to the Fairfield police because he literally almost killed me. Some fat meatball cop comes out and i show him the video. He looks at me and says "so". I asked him if they will follow up or do anything. He said "no". I said "I have video right here, you can see the guy, his license plate and that he ran a red light, driving recklessly, etc".. His response was "Can I have your name". I then walked out..

Don't expect the cops to have your back or do anything. They are too busy wearing vests and trying to look like wannabe military guys.. The issue is their bellies are so busting they look and act like clowns.

I am sure if the guy was Black, they would have sent the whole force...

Not in NJ, Strand Book Store 828 Broadway at 12th Street in New York beats all stores in NJ and is worth a visit. Its a paradise for used books where you can spend days and only see a small subset of their collections.

US had more large bookstores before Amazon took away their sales; NJ still has a few large bookstores including several Barnes and Noble locations.

We have an insane # of municipalities and school districts for a state this size. It's super inefficient. Good luck getting anyone with the power to do it to consolidate. Maybe one or 2 here and there. Can anyone name any municipalities besides possibly Peapack & Gladstone &that have merged? Any since 1912? In fact, reading up on P&G, that may not really have been a merger.
