Second time books is everything you want in a used bookstore if your primary interest is SF/F. (About a third of the store)

The rest of the store is good too, but its SF collection is amazing and the kind of thing you generally wouldn't expect to find outside of a specialty SFF-focused store in a large city. (though without the new releases you'd see in such a place)

Wildwood /wildwood crest is also a great choice for the family vacation, I’ve been going there my whole life as a kid and now with my kids…great beautiful free beach (best in nj) plus the best boardwalk with a lot of rides…but good summer rentals are going fast…anywhere on the shore, you gotta get your crew together and book something soon…

Just I would avoid point pleasant… the beach there is like just gravel and ground up sea shells, not really sand, and it has a crazy steep drop off at the water, my wife and 4yo daughter almost drowned last time we were there…

yuuup - a few towns in Monmouth used to share courts, but the other towns withdrew because they were viewing the court as a "profit machine" when the people running the court told them it was not, and they wouldn't lock people up on bullshit (and this was before the bail reform)

imo no school district should be allowed to have less than 2500-3000 students and if it does, it should be merged into the district with the highest DFG that borders it.

but I think that towns having their own school districts makes sense - it would be better for more districts to have regional HSes, though

the funny thing is that a lot of those small towns do shared courts - but refuse to consider sharing things like public works

If you don't want nightlife, definitely check out Ocean City. It's a dry island so there's no bars or places with loud music/parties into the evening, though you can obviously bring your own drinks for yourself. It's very clean and barely 20 minutes away from Atlantic City if you wanted to go to a casino or something
