I remember the noise of the cars from Raceway Park, on a windy day, was heard clearly from my parents’ old house on the easternmost end of Marlboro. We could also sometimes hear the foghorn on the Raritan River from time to time - also not super close by.

I can’t believe it’s been around that long. I heard that on TV and the radio well into the 2000s.
