You're not wrong - less sun means less sun damage, but you're kidding yourself if you think this is why people tint their windows . They like the look and the anonimity it provides. Sort of like guys who wear sunglasses at night.

If you're going to midtown then somewhere on the east with an express bus should be OK. I live in Teaneck by a bus stop and it takes like 30 minutes with no traffic, 50 with traffic. Jersey city/ Hoboken could also be good - really just the closer to the city you get, the better the commute will be

Look for an express bus that goes to Port Authority. I live right on the 77 bus route and it takes 50 minutes from getting on to getting off the bus in midtown. The towns that use this particular line are West Orange (where I am) and Livingston.

Tint protects skin and interior of car. No reason it should be illegal. The law is there because police need to see in the front of the car. The law should instead state you need to roll your windows down if you get pulled over. It’s not a driving safety issue because a) police tint their windows and b) many states allow tinted windows

That's not a Karen thing lmao You broke the law and now have to deal with the consequences. You whining about it is definitely much more in line with "Karen" behavior.

Lol are you serious? I bought the car that isn’t street legal. Why should I have to change anything? Lol

Edit: Officer, the car had no doors or seatbelts when I bought it so you can’t give me a ticket.

Officer, the car was spewing an opaque black cloud of smoke when I bought it so I don’t need to get it inspected.

Lol so dumb
