3BR at 4600/mo is 1535 per month per bedroom. Considering a 1BR is 1800+, youre getting at least newer construction for less than if you didnt have roommates. And if its you and 2 good friends going from your shitty college apt to this, now that everyone is working, I could see the reason why.

That’s true but I’m trying to get an idea on this specific sector the range is public and according to their doc it’s between $58,031.09 - $82,157.57 I’m just trying to see where I would fall based on my experience

The benefits are really good yes but the pay is low. Can’t pay bills with healthcare unfortunately. However unlike some jobs you have a very defined raise plan and it can be easy to move up(again depending on what you do etc)

Rich Asians. Hang around the Starbucks they eventually build, and that's all you'll see. Not even 10 years ago, Hudson County was little (insert Latin city name), now it's all Asians and Indians in their midtown uniforms. Excited to see what camden looks like in a few years.

State job salaries are not based off your experience, rather the position you applied for should have the salary poster already.

Also I have a comp sci degree living in NJ with over 10 yrs exp. Is there not a private sector job you can find, or, you specifically want this job?

I have been in many situations like this. I need to get a new dash cam to record these idiots. I also usually call the NJSP when that is happening. I've seen them react pretty quickly (troopers will then speed past me to try to catch up to them or they'll post troopers south to try to catch them).

In the end, I hope karma bites them back somehow.

Wow meat crayons, I’m also going to have to use that term if you don’t mind!

I live off of 37 near seaside, and holy, shit. The amount of racing you hear almost every night at 9 pm. It’s insane honestly. Nvm how 37 is basically a suicide mission dare you drive it at peak hours.

I’m a stay at home mom so I rarely have to get on the parkway. I avoid 37 like the plague and use backroads just to get to the ShopRite for example.

The handful of times I do have to take the parkway it’s consistently been white knuckle driving. Just because of so many erratic drivers who feel entitled to be wherever they please.

I was rear ended a decade ago, guy hit me going 50 mph as I was stopped. And pregnant. So I’m already a super vigilant driver just from that experience. Because of NJs no fault laws the guy got away with it. I tried to sue his business into oblivion…
