It depends on where you are and who’s asking. I don’t identify as an American unless someone from another country asks me. Even then when they ask where I’m from I’ll typically say a more specific area than just America/US, just depends on the context. I think most of the country is pretty crazy so I’d rather not be lumped in with the nut jobs if I can help it.

Normaly I'd say that but this was much different I think there's some kind of event today because even when I took the exit into lacey there were kids flying onto the parkway and off doing wheelies and standing on the bikes trying to run people off I get the normal bullshit but this was pretty coordinated and seems like a big thing.

I HATE the cold (it makes everything hurt and walking a nightmare). However I am also very painfully aware of what it means for our planet.

I grew up chasing Monarch butterflies by day & fireflies at night. Now I barely see either, and it’s just an awkwardly warm winter.

Most Water in NJ is hard, it's even harder if you receive well water. I'm in Water Treatment soooo take my advice and get a water softener! Hard water isn't much of an issue depending on its applications. Over time it can create build-up of precipitated solids. You would notice a pale yellow residue forming around your faucets / shower heads or spots on your dishes after washing and setting to dry. Hard water also dries out your skin more after a shower, and requires more soap to clean your laundry.
