Cool store = StrangeWays (very close to your Barcade plan); also cheap delicious lunch at Tacos Los Gordos, on the same block. Browsing museum/gallery stuff = Father McGivney Ctr for Christmas displays; and Ely Center of Art but it seems only open Sunday this wk; and if NXTHVN is still having their exhibits.

Katalina’s!! They’re on the edge of downtown on Whitney Ave. Especially if anyone has dietary restrictions, they make the best vegan cupcakes. We order them for every birthday party and everyone loves them.

I wouldn’t recommend Rover or Wag for fearful/reactive dogs unless you can somehow externally confirm their skills
Source: was a wag walker and would not trust my reactive dog with them

In all honesty it’s not safe to be biking that direction. Especially when it’s dark.

Lucibello's in New Haven is solid for all Italian deserts, but I probably have to rank Petonito's in Northford above it if you don't mind going a bit out of the way.

We have several good options, but Lucibello's wins if you want some great Italian pastry(they do cookies as well)

I’d go for the Italian pastries from Libby’s.

Reply to Terrible experience with Avelo by Tunarepa2
So, as perspective. I myself have flown avelo, and have many family members who have now used avelo a minimum of 15 times in the last 2 years. Mostly to Florida and back.
No bad experiences, on time departures continuously, arrivals were early every single time coming back to CT, quick and easy in the lines, security was super fast. And the coffee in the terminal could be worse too.
Sucks when someone has a bad experience, but does not mean the whole company is bad.
