Ninth Square Market Caribbean is insane value. The $15 large plate can easily be split as two healthy portions, and you're getting a smorgasbord of delicious food.

Also can't really go wrong with just getting pizza. $20 for a large cheese at Modern or $13 for a large cheese at 163 is value town for the amount and quality you get.

Because by any objective fact it is. It’s a 2 year school, to start with.

That doesn’t make it not useful, but there’s nothing that it wins at outside of cheap and easy.

I’m a big fan of the community college system, but objectively by almost any measure how do you not say it’s the worst school in town?

Although I’d point out it also doesn’t qualify for the question isn’t it isn’t a university.

Hi! I go by DJ Nihilist & I'm part of a crew of Connecticut DJs called Ikkibu Project, we play & throw some shows in NH & other cities relatively regularly. Tho we primarily focus on more uptempo genres like Dubstep and DnB, a good portion of us LOVE downtempo electronic and would be super excited about the opportunity to play some chiller vibes. I'm going to reach out in the DMs, I'd love hear more about your vision & see if we might be able to achieve it together :)

Live close to the West Hartford location, and used to love walking my dog there in the morning and picking up some beans for home -- was a great deal for a full pound of excellent beans. Unfortunately shrinkflation hit and they started charging just a little more for smaller bags of beans, 12 oz. Maybe they expanded too soon? Also, they used to give a free drip coffee when you bought a bag of beans, but no more. I still grab a latte there from time to time, and the workers are great, but I've begun buying my beans elsewhere, unfortunately.

Yale is not comparable to other non-profit universities (aside from Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, MIT, etc). They have the second largest endowment in the country at over $42 billion…

For context, 20-30 minutes away at Quinnipiac (where president Lahey set a record for highest-paid college president ever), the endowment is under $1 billion.

Yale has too good of a deal with the city of New Haven, and owes more to the city’s residents.
