It’s because you can’t read, LOL. And I don’t think you have any intention of trying based on the effort made so far.

I’m talking about cost inefficiency not line inefficiency. I could hang superconductors all over and it would have very low line losses while being massively cost inefficient. But you’re an attorney you should be at least smart enough to figure that out right?

We have a convenient metric showing the real COST of delivery associated with centralized generation and it’s RIGHT ON YOUR POWER BILL. How is this so hard to figure out.

Read my comment again I did not say generator. I said to heat a home. Direct combustion vs delivered power at market rates.

Then go back and read again and realize I’m using that example because it’s familiar to someone who is allergic to solar, and solar is actually less cost per kWh than market rates for delivered power.

And we haven’t even brought up externalized costs that aren’t represented by market pricing.

It’s not even the “new” and “trendy” apartments with pet limitations, unfortunately. From my observations (maybe other people have more evidence or know the justification behind it), it seems landlords in the New Haven area are just really against pets. Like really against pets. I am told that my previous landlord tried to evict a tenant for having an unauthorized cat.

I'm also a MS transplant. When I go home I always get asked to bring Maple Syrup/Honey or Yuengling's since those things are hard to come by down there. My family also loves to collect antiques which is great to look for up here considering it's the oldest part of the country. Depending on their taste you may be able to find a really cool piece for them somewhere.

Came here to say this! When I lived in OH my parents would always bring me Hummel’s with New England split top hotdog ROLLS. We call them ROLLS here in New England!! If you can buy some lobsters there, steam them up, and slap them on the rolls with butter!

They are the most profitable thing to build at the moment. Just don’t ask what they will look like in 30 years.

Don’t worry! Eventually if all the apartments are high quality, the price will eventually drop enough that some low income people can afford them.

What you don’t trust entirely trickle down, supply side economics to help poor people? Don’t tell me you don’t have a shrine to Reagan in your house!

Without even getting into the rest of it, there is zero possibility that these literal thousands of new apartments are all being built “very specifically” for Chinese grad students at Yale. How is this even an argument you’re trying to stick to? No, developers aren’t just putting up thousands of new apartment units across a bunch of buildings for the maybe 1000 Chinese students at Yale. Are they a factor? Sure. But come on, the numbers don’t even come close to supporting what you’re saying.

Lipgloss is still very much around. Sara does stuff at least monthly at Three Sheets and has various other events/markets she’s at selling stuff. Pretty sure she doesn’t make those shirts anymore though.
