That's not what I ask. I didn't say it was an obgyn. And we don't routinely go and see orthos easier. I was talking about physicians. Like you. The primary care doctor who SHOULD have a relationship with their patients What exactly is the point your making? Because it's clearly nothing to do with what I posted

First, it depends what field of medicine you practice. An OBGYN is not going to review psych meds; nor is an orthopedic surgeon going to review your ADHD meds. Unfortunately medicine has always been a business where quantity is valued over quality. It’s a shame. We spent half a million dollars becoming physicians only to have big pharma and other institutions that have no clinical experience dictate who we see in what amount of time we see them. This results in poor outcomes, quickly satisfying patients needs and moving on. It’s a shame. That’s why I resigned last month. I can’t compromise my integrity as a physician because we are being pushed to see patients every 7 min.

$2,000 is a month is beyond crazy expensive. Look up “Calvin Hill” at Foote- for psych ward level crazy 😜- I lived in New Haven as my daughter turned three. I could throw a rock and hit Beecher, Sheridan or Davis. My daughter was on the waiting list. Both for pre-K 3, and 4. She eventually went to the “Blake street learning center” (not there anymore) - and though it had painfully little resources, curriculum and budget compared to any magnet school, I am so happy she got the educational experience of diversity and life skills in addition to teachers who gave their all and genuinely cared- (shout out to Mrs. Duarte, Mrs. Correrea, and Grandma!) The lottery magnet school system is a racket and all about who you know, go to church with, have pull with, etc. To all the suburban families who took advantage of using the Lottery to have their kids go to Davis and Beecher, etc. for their newfound (then) academic excellence, fully knowing you were going to pull them out and back to your wealthier suburban public school or a private school for K- forward, I doubt that you thought about the struggling single working parents who lived in New Haven who had to “compete” with your child for a spot in free pre-k 3 and 4 at a school right in their own neighborhood. This was 10 years ago, I don’t know if it’s different or better now. Edit: I sound really bitter here, that wasn’t my intention!

Isn't it your job as the doctor to go through regimes with your patients to ensure that they're on the correct medicine? Or do you just give your patients 10 minutes of your time then send them on their way because you need to fit in as many people as possible $$$$

Yea we looked at that one too. Two of the teachers couldn’t even pretend to like the kids in their class during our 15 minute visit. Can only imagine the fuckry that goes on there.

I'm not a trivia person, but I believe Fussy does Sunday night trivia? Or at least they were/had been. Their Instagram has a post about it from 10 weeks ago (but they aren't good about updating on Instagram or their website about anything anyway).
