Because nobody will give us a short-term lease. And leases with independent landlords are much harder to break. Open to ideas however.

You've been lucky! When we had a fire in our home, we rented a condo. Top floor. People below and next to us smoked so much pot that it was like we had been smoking in our rental. Not to mention the "ladies " coming in and out on certain nights after midnight and keeping us awake. Then there's the God awful music. People need to realize that when you live in an apartment or condo, that you are responsible to your neighbors to not disturb them.

So glad to be home after 15 months of HELL!

Westville Village has 2 bedroom 2 bath options. My wife and I moved out of there in November and there was just a fee for breaking the lease.

Emmett’s on Campbell Ave in West Haven. They always did right by me.

I really like ricks auto in Hamden. They’ll be honest about what work actually needs to be done and what can wait, and they always do a nice job.

This is what I do. No complaints

Town Walk in Hamden is nice, in the "New haven" area

1. Winchester Lofts - know lots of people there, in Science Park
2. Ashmun Flats - I lived there, also in Science Park
3. 500 Blake Street Apartments, Westville Area, had friends there
4. 131-147 Cottage Street Apartments, East Rock, have a friend there.

I'm sure there are lots of other good options too. With your price range, you have options.
