Your best bet for the price is probably one of the firehouses in EH or WH, or a rotary/legion club. Not the prettiest but have consistently been the cheapest for a while. Haven’t looked into to them since pre-COVID, but at least a few should be able to house the amount you’re looking for

Lived in a bigger condo, about 1200 sq ft near Tweed Airport until last year. The windows were old and let a lot of heat out, so I ended up shrink wrapping them in the winter. Gas bill was usually $220-260 in the coldest months, maybe $180-220 at the beginning and end of the season.

Yeah if it gets really cold you might be looking at $600-800 per month in the two worst months. It depends on how well insulated it is and what you set the thermostat to, plus whether oil prices go up or down. If it's a mild winter the costs are much lower.

I don’t live in Edgewood, but I do live in a two-bedroom first floor of a three-family home with oil heat. It’s an old building. Our heat was ~$150 in November and ~$350 in December. I wouldn’t be surprised if it got up even higher in January and February if it cools down significantly. We usually keep it pretty cold, too—I don’t think we’ve ever turned it above 68.
