I do not have recommendations for specific therapists, although I do recommend folks check their insurance about virtual options. I realize not everyone is interested in therapy through a screen, but many insurances have partnered with virtual therapy providers and waived copays due to the pandemic.

Additionally, being honest with others about your sobriety can be a game changer. Sharing to your comfort level with colleagues and friends can increase your own accountability (assuming these people are prosocial supports).

Personally, I have also downloaded the app “I am Sober” and have personalize it to include images and mottos to keep me motivated. Also r/stopdrinking … it’s a great subreddit to join.

Transmission lines need to be improved to make the infrastructure more secure and reliable. We're vulnerable. What does that vulnerability cost? Far greater than the cost of a one-time effort when you think about the problem in terms of decades, or even centuries, not years. It's never going to get less expensive to upgrade the grid than it is right now.

Less centralized, evenly distributed power generation via strategically placed renewable energy sources and energy storage facilities could be a viable option for NH as well.

What I'd like to know is why UNH loses power so very often. Parts of the Durham campus lose power 6x as often as towns in the same county do. Some times on days with no wind to speak of and no snow or rain.

I think the issues in NH are very dependent on where you live as well. We very rarely loose power. I bought. My generator 5 years ago and have 1.6 hours on it. Sure the power has gone out a few times since then but never long enough to justify hooking up the generator.

1½ miles, for heavy cream, in heavy snow, with slippery sidewalks and puddles hiding under snow, for alfredo sauce? Thats one of the most New Hampshire things I've ever heard. I love it.

If you need a suitable substitute in the future, the mixture I've used for a base for alfredo sauce is one part whole milk, to one part half-and-half. It's not quite as savory but it's still pretty darn tasty.

About 6" in Milford, of heavy wet stuff. A lot of the roads aren't plowed yet. It took me 30 minutes to get from the oval to the Merrimack Outlets, and by the time I got there, work (in Manchester) said don't come in.
