Ugghhhhhhhhh that is so damned infuriating.

I don't freaking get it. If the baby has a serious medical issue that needs surgical intervention - fine! We KNOW how dangerous/harmful it is for intersex to be forced into the wrong identity.

Information that "shockingly" aligns with data on trans populations.

8 in 100 detransition in any form. 62 in 100 of those did it because of societal pressures and not because they personally wanted to.

So if you have a population of 1000 people who have transitioned in any way, 80 might have fully detransitioned or partially (meaning they might be "switching/etc). Only 30 chose to detransition and didn't claim it was due outside pressure.

Contrast to suicidality

https://www.gendergp.com/what-is-the-transgender-suicide-rate/

50% consider suicide. 20% attempt

So 50 in 100 are in such destress that they want to die.

20 in 100 try to die. Note: not 20% of 50% like the above stat... In a population of 1000 people who have identified as trans, 500 comtemplate suicide. 200 attempt.

Note: data on completed suicide is lacking because of how deaths are reported.

Yep. Some of them are so crazy they have basically went all the way around and touched tips with the right wing nutjobs.

I was speaking of the supporters more than politicians. Most of the politicians aren't crazy, they are just opportunistic parasites that use whatever brand of crazy is convenient in order to gain power. A few of them might be drinking koolaid, but mostly they don't really care about the things they are making a big deal of.

If I remember correctly the 'convenience' fee shows up when you're paying but you're not actually charged it. It doesn't show up on your receipt when using eCheck. I registered my CC and attempted to pay with that when their new website first when live. The transaction would go through on their site then I'd get an email later saying the transaction failed.

Considering their website operates slower than websites in the dial-up era, I have no clue WTF they were thinking with this update.

I'll also whine that you can no longer pay multiple accounts at the same time. If you had multiple accounts (I'm a landlord) you used to be able to pay them all at once. Now I have to pay each one individually. Combine with the slow website and it's very frustrating. Use auto-pay you say? I don't trust them enough for that.

For the last couple of years, there have been jobs everywhere. I haven't seen the signing bonus signs in a while (they were offering multiple thousands of dollars a year ago for fast food and others).

Not very much engineering, other than far south or commuting to Mass. I don't like commuting and didn't want to live in the expensive suburban south, so waited until I was self-employed before I moved back home (rural south) ten years ago.

But now there are so many remote jobs for engineering, that doesn't even matter any more.

Haha when I was at school one of my Marketing projects actually compared NH and West Virginia as the most comparable for our market research and I never forgot that. Check out our literacy, average income, and unemployment- they were identical when I was at school.

I'm sure it depends a lot on what kind of a job you are looking for. If it's just any entry level job I wouldn't imagine you should have any issue finding one.

I no longer live with them and we are minimal contact. But there are not exactly a whole lot of living options for adults who are on the autism spectrum and don't have the life skills to live independently or on their own with roommates..so my only choice at that point was living with my parents..add in emotionally abusive and narcissistic parents who guilt trip you and emotionally abused and manipulated you at the slightest talk of even moving out and it adds a whole new layer of complications to the living situation.

I moved out about a month after that and my parents sent the fucking cops to my new address to harass me and tried to get the cops to drag me home. Living situations are complicated when dealing with abusive and toxic folks

Above a 90 is quite average for a reputable place. You lose 2 points off your score for major violations and 1 point for minor and most of the violations found were major which caused them to get a 80. In order to fail your health inspection you will need to receive a score of 69 or lower.
