Any professional daring enough to share their expert perspectives on a social media platform, with the goal of appeasing anybody, is going to combine the passion of their craft with the feedback of people who have none.

With your successes, there will become a game of identifying your failures. It feels amazing to point out someone else is wrong, the reward exists and some people collect it.

Engagement is the onramp to burn-out. As one professional to another, I encourage you to find ways to throw all your fan mail in the trash. I win arguments at work all the time but I have never won a single argument on Reddit.

I got a used car from Peter's in Nashua about 8 years ago. Got the extended warranty that they offered because supposedly DCU wouldn't finance anything under 10k. That warranty actually came in handy. I had an issue with the engine and the heat and both got fixed and I paid less than half of what it would have cost. I didn't renew it after it expired though.

Well said.

Reducing recidivism rates is actually a smart investment, I'd argue if, you truly want to decrease crime that is directly caused by desperate people in desperate need, eliminating that desperation would pay dividends.

But, something something socialism.

Ideas are more powerful than any rifle.

Show some compassion.

Awww I’d love to come but I don’t think I’d be out of work in time with the drive 😭😭 I’m not quite a beginner tho (I’ve been crocheting for years but never got good 😂😂😂) so glad at least I wouldn’t be stealing a spot

My partner grew up in Chichester. When he was a kid (mid-late 80’s) he remembers seeing bumper stickers and other paraphernalia with: “I survived route 4!” It has a legacy of car accidents.

Off topic, but I grew up in Manchester around the same time, and remember rt 101 being called “death highway.” Our annual vacation was to York Beach (classic). I recall being petrified and hiding in the back seat the entire drive to/from the coast.
