Feel free to review my post history- literally the only thing I align with the right on is the 2nd amendment- everything else I'm somewhere in the ballpark of Bernie.

Again- separate the message from the act. The act has to be illegal, and if it is, it should be illegal for everyone, not just the people who you agree with. A message in and of itself should not be illegal, nor should the message be the determining factor if an otherwise legal act suddenly becomes illegal.

Your safety utopia will become a reality when CAVs become ubiquitous and humans are taken out of the equation. I’m not an engineer, but it seems like the Chuck Marohns of the world have convinced bike/ped advocates that engineers are inept, hate bike/ped infrastructure, and can prevent bad driver behavior by uniformly implementing a certain set of design guidelines (like NACTO). The reality is that there are about 5-6 communities in NH where those sort of design guidelines make any sense whatsoever. The rest of the State is rural and sparsely populated, and will always be automobile oriented.

Anywhere if you can walk to work/have a remote job and if you’re within a walking distance to grocery stores. I’ve lived in rural VT and ME without a car in my youth, it’s doable depending on your situation.

Exactly!!! I bought a used Audi in MA, checked out fine prior to purchase. My check clears, dealership calls and says ok to pick up, and the heating system was dead. Drive back to the dealership. They fix it under warranty. Go a week later to pick it up, go to put gas in it, battery won’t turn over. Back to the dealership for a new battery. Pick it up a THIRD time and there’s a huge chip in the windshield right in the line of sight. Car won’t pass inspection, so they had to take it back. They were mad, but MA lemon law protected me!

Sure, that sounds perfectly reasonable, but I am not sure what point you're arguing against. Knowing how to service and repair something is one thing but availability or circumstance is another. I can change my cars motor oil no problem most of the year but jacking up my car on my driveway in February sucks and I wouldn't fault someone for outsourcing that task to a service garage.
