I saw a table that was made from a cluster driftwood like this. I was topped with thick glass that was a light grey smoke. The artist that made it said he let the drift wood dry for a long time indoors to make sure it was completely dry and free of critters. The base's bottom and the branches that supported the glass had to be planed with the aid of a laser level. The glass was attached with epoxy. I don't remember the price but it was in the thousands, would be lots more now.

The management company then sends a notice to the owner to cease and desist and cite the rule that they are violating. If it remains a problem, they are subject to escalating fines.
