Definitely if you do it yourself. If you have to hire a professional to do it, they use top tier equipment at full markup, and you pay a lot in job hours. Still can be worth it, but contracting the work out is at least double the cost vs. DIY. Some places don't allow DIY, however.

I find it hard to believe that the small population of electric cars, compared to the enormous population of (enormous) pickup trucks & SUVs -- which are the most commonly sold cars these days, by a large margin -- are disproportionally affecting the roads.
And especially not in NH.

They seem to be getting all the subsidies and tax benefits for "affordable" housing and all the convenience and economic benefits of company housing. Sounds like corporate welfare to me.

Waahhhh!!! Society is failing to build affordable housing so an employer is trying something but he’s the employer so that’s bad! Waahhhh!!!

So they can make company housing with all the state funded economic incentives of affordable/"workforce housing"?

It’s alright. Just nowhere near the quality of architecture that used to exist which is so weird to me

How the hell did they end up at Loon? There are so many better resorts in the Alps. The rockies would be a much better choice for a trip to America. Even in New England... Vermont and Maine have far better skiing. Who in their right mind would fly thousands of miles to ski at Loon?

Sorry the DPW and the aldermen don't care about people walking.

Guess what's on schedule to be paved this year. Late August is the start and it's going to be done at night for seven weeks.

Fair enough! Can’t blame you thereThey do have roasted dates on them, and are usually very recent at my store, but doesn’t necessarily reflect yours.

Both are on the same street in Manchester’s north end, actually. I’ve toured them and they’re beautiful!

Yes, they got the rate increases pushed through at the peak energy costs and now that gas prices are down those rates are locked in.

My take on the matter, as a Nashua resident but NOT a homeowner, is that all the people who seem mad about it in the Nashua scoop and show up to complain about it are all people who are mad because they live in Nashua purely due to its relative cheapness and that it was close enough to Mass that they could commute. Now with the Home Price bubble, the city reassessing property taxes and all the tax change ups from the pandemic they’re horrified of the idea that Nashua is trying so hard to shake its Trash-ua image and becoming a place that has enough culture and quality that people will want to price them out. It’s fair, but I think anyone who complains about PAC are the same people who cry about the barriers allowing outdoor dining. They hate that their city isn’t a cheap ghost town anymore and that robs them of the convenience they enjoyed by no one wanting to be here or do business here.

Industries & companies that cycle up and down. They cycle with a high enough frequency that saving over a 40 year career minimizes their relevance on portfolio performance.

I don't mind it, I just hope they have some decent bands come to town like the used to back in the day when Holman Stadium was Holman Stadium. It will be great for all of the local businesses for them to do so. That and Nashua needs some excitement. I've been here 41 years..born and raised and it needs some uplifting. That and to be able to walk to a concert downtown would be badass.

Why the police won't comment? Because minors involved?! I call BS. Local cops are buddies with the owner, would be my guess.

There’s nothing in the article about the project having tax benefits beyond normal real estate or subsidies.
Sounds like you can’t read to me.
