If the US defaults, the world has bigger things to worry about.

It looks great. The previous building was not that significant, a lot of the opposition seems to come from stubborn nostalgia. The cities history will be intact, don't fear. That structure is far from an ugly design.
I would have loved having something like this when I lived there. Good for you Nashua!

Which is why I always decline any additional service they try to sell me on. I know what my car needs (most of the time) as I'm pretty good about regular maintenance and have a regular place for all other service. I'd just rather pay a little less for the BS inspection sticker.

All modern architecture is terrible. It's taking away from the city's charm and historic architecture. Such an eyesore.

What are the issues? I have been here a while now and there is nothing that is glaringly terrible.

I know you’re looking to support a local butcher, but did just want to throw it out there that the Monadnock Co-Op usually sells beef tallow!

Drove past it recently to check it out. I was dubious before I saw it, but I think it looks perfect. Modern but good looking, large but not dominating.
It brings a great freshness; my guess is a lot of those in the FB pages complaining haven’t actually seen it.

I don't know, I just find it unfortunate that NH missed out on that economic boon. It could have, and should have been one of the first. Now it's the last New England state. So you aren't going to see a huge economic advantage to it happening now.

It's a cool building, it's also nice that it's not surrounded by a huge parking lot.

Reply to Mental health resources are scarce. How NH residents are getting the help they need by greenhousecrtv
If you have insurance, The NH state insurance department is really good about forcing insurers to pay for "medically necessary" treatment as part of the appeals process. That applies to mental health treatment, but also applies to esoteric immune disorders with very expensive medications and some cancer treatments.
You must have good medical records, especially if the disease is chronic. Honestly, if you have good records that show other treatments have not worked, you don't even need to get a doctor involved.
- You are denied.
- Get the appeal forms from the state insurance company.
- Follow the instructions..attaching id, denial letter, proof of insurance, medical records
- Scan to Pdf
- Email/mail/fax to state
- It gets sent out to a 3rd party review. The treatment has to have been proven to be effective for treating the illness in general per FDA--not experimental--, it has to be a medical procedure, and other alternatives have not worked (your medical records)
- It comes back with approval or denial from 3rd party reviewer...a firm out of state with physicians and nurses who review your records....
- State issues order to insurer (very quickly)
If approved, the insurer has to pay. At this point the insurer is going to assign a single person to you to process everything because losing an appeal is a black mark on their record. Don't give them any info about the illness or progress, just ask them questions if necessary. If they create any more problems, such as limiting you to their pharmacy, tell them you are going back to the state.

I hope they offer discounted tickets or have a community program - right now tickets are pretty expensive for families to afford going to shows.

They decided to keep them 3 years I think. But last summer painted them all the same reddish brick color. I don’t think they looked much better and not sure they needed them. I don’t understand why people would want to eat so close to traffic - the sidewalks I understand.
